One of my favorite parts of my styling business is dressing clients for special trips. Many of my clients are busy with children, work, and managing their homes, so even though they may love shopping, they don’t have the time to go by themselves and wait hours for dressing rooms or checkout lines - nor do they want to spend all afternoon on the internet searching for and putting together the perfect outfits.
Some clients are now empty nesters, have elevated in status through a job relocation, recently retired, or are being invited to more fashionable events and struggle to come up with the perfect look themselves or find the proper attire.
All of these ideas might seem frivolous to the average, non-fashionable person or the die-hard LuluLemon traveler, but they are not my clientele.
Finding the right rhythm to your wardrobe and translating that through beautiful fabrics and design is where I shine.
Each and every one of my clients have their own individual style - all I do is find pieces that emulate their personality and elevate their natural taste. Whether you love a fun, boho look or classy, clean lines, we can work together to build a wardrobe you are excited to wear and show off to the world!
Personally, I tend to lean towards classic, timeless pieces for all my clients and create a closet with essentials that are the foundation for the perfect wardrobe.
One of the biggest misconceptions about hiring a stylist is that when you look in the mirror, you will see someone else in the clothes they styled you in, rather than yourself.
However, this simply isn’t true.
Before even getting to the styling, I personally take the time to get to know my clients and what they like/dislike because it’s my job as a stylist to introduce you to new brands and silhouettes that you may not be aware of. We will play with different ideas to create a new you: a woman who is even more elegant, polished, sophisticated, and put together.

In the images above, I dressed a client for a trip to Napa who I have worked with for years. She was attending some events and wanted to make this trip special, complete with memorable outfits. However, after searching the internet and googling for hours, she called me for help.
For her styling session, I brought an entire rack of items right to her home so she could physically try on the pieces and see how they would all fit into her current closet - in addition to shopping with her online and sending her links of items to view.
I also put together a personalized story board so she could see how all the pieces I picked for her easily and effortlessly went together (pictured left). We mixed and matched pieces to create several different looks with classic, tailored, clean lines and solid tones.
This is key to understanding how everything goes together.

We have all been photographed on a trip and later look back at the picture and thought:
what the heck was I wearing?
Simply planning a trip can be stressful enough before even actually leaving for it. However, planning an incredible trip with beautifully, well-made clothes can transcend your whole experience. And while on your trip, there is nothing like taking photos and capturing memories wearing stunning outfits that make you feel beautiful, sexy, and chic.
Every week, I dress clients for fabulous trips to Paris, the Amalfi Coast, Green, out west, and weekends with friends at the cabin.
Let me help you pack for your next trip!
Sincerely,
Jessica Hilde
